What you need to drive with Wheee.
Personal Requirements
- Valid NZ Driver Licence
Full licence held for at least 2 years - P Endorsement
Required for carrying paying passengers in NZ - Smartphone
iOS or Android device to run the Wheee driver app - NZ Bank Account
For receiving your weekly earnings - Email Address
For account communication - NZ Postal Address
For official correspondence
Getting Your P Endorsement
If you don't have a P endorsement yet, here's what you need:
- Hold a full NZ driver licence for at least 2 years
- Pass a police background check
- Pass a medical examination
- Complete an approved P endorsement course
- Pass a practical driving test
The endorsement is valid for 5 years and must be renewed. Learn more at NZTA.govt.nz
