Cancellation Policy
How cancellations work for riders and drivers.

Rider Cancellation Fees
| When you cancel | Fee |
|---|---|
| More than 2 hours before pickup | No fee |
| 1-2 hours before pickup | $5.00 NZD |
| Less than 1 hour before pickup | $10.00 NZD |
| After driver arrived / No-show | Up to 50% of fare (min $10) |
How to Cancel
In the app: Go to upcoming rides → Select ride → Cancel Ride → Confirm.
No-Shows
If you don't appear within 5 minutes and can't be reached, the driver may mark you as a no-show. Fee: up to 50% of fare (minimum $10).
Driver Cancellations
Drivers may cancel for emergencies, vehicle issues, or safety concerns. You won't be charged, and we'll try to match you with another driver.
Exceptions
We may waive fees for medical emergencies (with documentation), natural disasters, or extraordinary circumstances. Contact support@wheee.co.nz.
Summary
- ✓ Cancel 2+ hours ahead = Free
- ✓ Cancel 1-2 hours ahead = $5 fee
- ✓ Cancel under 1 hour = $10 fee
